Technorati update 19-1-2008

Looking at a new update from Technorati shows that the Authority of some blogs doesn't increase that much. An exception is the Mail-Art Projects blog that has now Authority 31. Reasons: There are 60+ contributors to this blog and also lots of these contributors link to the blog. This aspect has raised the Autority to a double level in only a single month.

It is always interesting to see the Authorities of Blogs. This one has now Authority 4. Two more blogs have a much higher Authority. They are much longer active of have several members that publish on the blog. I have 11 blogs lister at technorati. That way I can see how the interact and how things work....

Authority update 12-10-2007

Suddenly the Authority of this blog went from 2 up to 4. Seems that things I prepaired worked quite well.

Seems that my blogs are picked up nicely in the Technorati listings. Two of them even got Autority 13. Not bad. This specific blog (Statistical Data) stays on 2. Probaly because it is relatively small and not that well interlinked with other websites yet.

The many postings and links on this blog must have helped. The Authority just went up to 2, and now indicates how this blog is seen by the Technorati programm. We will see how it increases further as the blog grows and the interlinking gets more scuccesfull.

The current status on Technorati. Always a surprise how things change..... Seems like some blogs I have increased in Authority. Not always sure why, but the internetworking seems to cause this.

Sooner then I expected the Authority of this new blog went up to Authority 1. Not sure why it went that quickly. Only after 25 postings the program already upgraded the level. Other blogs are still waiting to get this.

Statistics on Technorati of my Blogs

Here is an update of the current state of Autority on my Blogs. As you can see the Statistical Blog has no Authority yet. Others do pop up because I am doing things. The Mail-Art Projects blog even raised a point. Later I will explain why.

Adding you blog to Technorati

At the link: http://technorati.com/ you can add your blog to a growing number of blogs that are indexed by this majr player in the field. You need to have a profile first, but then you can add your blogs to that account. Claiming a blog means that you need a small link to their site that is detected by their spiders. It they do, they index your blog and also use the tags you might have used for indexing it. All in all, the interlinking now starts.

At first you don't have an Autority, but when more links come to your blogs this Authority grows. I have now 10 blogs claimed under one account, so I will give you frequent updates here on how these Authorities rise and how I managed to do that. Don't think it is an easy process. It is part in the Search-engine marketing one needs to know, and also realize it is hard work and not simple use a simple tool. More soon. With this blog I start at sero. I build up the tools and you can backtrach how things develope....
